Behind The Scenes From Drumheller - Calgary Photographer

I have been way behind in updating the Blog, but I do have a bunch of posts ready to go. Here is one out of my back log! Enjoy..



A few weeks ago a group of photographers went to Drumheller for an off camera lighting workshop. (Original Post Here)
I said I would post a few of the setups, the resulting images and some of the details of the shots for you to see.

Here they are!

Setup 1:



Camera details: Canon 40D, Manual, 200th Sec at F5, ISO 100, 34mm with a 24-70mm 2.8L

Lighting Details: One AB800 at 1/8 power triggered Via Pocket Wizards, Powered by a Vegabond II
Resulting Image 1:


Setup 2:
Camera Details: Canon 40D, Manual 1/160th at F7.1, ISO 100, 48mm with a 24-70mm F2.8L

Lighting Details: Vivitar 285HV Through an umbrella, Triggered Via Radio Poppers using TTL.

Setup 3:
Camera Details: Canon 40D, Manual, 1/160th Sec at F9, ISO 100, 62mm with 24-70 F2.8L.
Lighting Details: One AB800 at about 1/8 power Through a shoot through Umbrella, Triggered via Pocket Wizards Powered by a Vegabond II.

(Just so you know the first image in this post was shot at 1/50th sec. at F10 Iso 200. One Vivitar 285 in a Lastolite Ezybox.)

  1. Airdrie, and then we went all around town to various locations I had scoped out earlier. One of which is one of my favorite group shots of all time ( see above ).
