How to make a cupcake disappear in under 30 seconds. Part One...

A year already has passed since he was born! It's hard to believe. They say that you have to cherish these times as they seem to fly by, and I have to say that whoever 'they' are, sure got it right!

Everyday I come home from work and I am welcomed home with smiles as bright as Christmas trees and excitement to see me, like I'm Santa (hehehe) with a big-bag-O-toys. In that second its gone, the memory of my day just seem to vanish. That feeling makes it all worth it.

I have had that feeling everyday for the past 6 years, but this last year I had a third reason. Another reason to be the best Dad that I can, and his name is Cameron. You may remember him from such movies as The Spaghetti Measurer or his first Blog post. Well now he's one...and I can't wait for the great times we are going to have in the coming years!

How do you make a cupcake disappear in under 30 seconds? Well, you just give it to my one year old. It's like magic!

To be continued...

My world's been turned upside down! - Calgary Children Photographer

I was chilling at home with my boys, Clayton and Cameron, while Cassidy was out for her Dance class and Jenn had went for a run. Clayton and I were setting up my lights and doing a few test shots for an upcoming shoot. I took some of Clayton and he took a few of me. After some funny test ones I got the idea to do these pictures...when Cassidy got home I had to do one of her too! Now I just have to go to the park so I can get one of Jenn and I!

Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment!

Camerons already two months! - Calgary Baby Photographer

Yes the title is right, our newest edition is already two months old! Although sometimes I feel like he is even older than that, so strong and all. They, whoever they are, say time flies when your having fun but wow it really does. He is so far our easiest baby, not giving us any trouble at all. Maybe that's experience or he's just that good. Originally over 9 lbs at birth he now weighs in at over 13 lbs. I think its mostly hair, although he is a big boy. I Finally got around to doing some more pictures of him.

So for your viewing pleasure...

Cheers thanks for viewing...more to come soon.

Cameron Jake - Calgary Newborn Photographer

Its been a long journey getting here and is still a long journey that only begins now!

Jenn had made it through 41 weeks of pregnancy like a trooper, but was really feeling like she was over it..

It was December 1st at 3:00pm when I got the "you should come home now!" text. I hurried home and then we took our time getting ready. When we finally got to the hospital it was 5:56 pm. We had some trouble checking in so Jenn had to wait alone in a bed with no nurses checking on her while I got the mountains of paperwork done. When I finally got back she was already in transition, so when I finally got the nurse to check her she was already a good 6cm dilated and well on her way to 10cm... We got our delivery room in a flash and Jenn was begging for something to ease the pain. As the nurse was getting the I.V. set up Jenns water broke and a delivery nurse came flying in. In as many as 3 or 4 pushes we had a new baby boy! I cut the cord and it was an official birth at 6:56 pm. We were in the delivery room maybe 10 minutes before he was actually born. All without anything for the pain...

I am SO incredibly proud, thankful, and appreciative to Jenn for giving me yet another one of the most fantastic gifts anyone could give.

So without further ado... I present: Cameron Jake Davidson weighing in at whopping 9lbs 3oz!

Enjoy!

A quick Tim Horton's...

and then straight into multitasking...breastfeeding and texting at the same time... Happy Birthday Mom!
